Eli Craigis an American film director, screenwriter, and actor. He is best known for writing and directing the cult horror comedy filmTucker & Dale vs Evil.

Early life

Craig isSally Field's second son with Steve Craig.[2]His older brotherPeter Craigis a screenwriter and novelist. His half-brother John Craig is a musician. He also has another younger half-brother named Sam Greisman, who is Sally Field's youngest son.[citation needed]

Career

In 2010, Craig wrote and directed the cult horror comedy movieTucker & Dale vs Evil,which premiered at theSundance Film Festivaland won the audience award atSXSW.[3]His next filmLittle Evil,starringEvangeline LillyandAdam Scott,was released onNetflixin September 2017 to positive reviews.[4][5][6]

Personal life

Craig is a passionate outdoorsman and worked as anOutward Boundinstructor for several years after college. He has led climbing trips up the mountaineers route onMount Whitney,Aconcagua,Mount Rainier,Pico De Orizaba,andDenali.[7]

Craig married actress, the formerYellow Power Ranger,Sasha Williams in 2004,[8]and together they have two sons, Noah and Colin.[9]
