Fletcher played forCrewe AlexandraandManchester City.DuringWorld War I,he appeared forPort Valeas a guest in a 5–2 win overManchester Unitedin a Lancashire Regional section Subsidiary Tournament match on 28 April 1917; he also played for the club as a guest in April 1919.[2]He later played forWatford,Sandbach Ramblers,andArds.[3]He later became acoachat Manchester City.
