Elizabeth J. Braswell

Elizabeth J. Braswell,often known asLiz Braswell,is anEnglish-born American writer ofyoung adult fiction.She is best known for her NYTimes bestselling books in Disney's Twisted Tale series, along withThe Nine Lives of Chloe King,a series that was adapted as a2011 television show of the same name.[1]She is also known to publish work under the names Tracy Lynn and Celia Thompson.[2]

Early life and education[edit]

Braswell was born inBirmingham,England, and she grew up in a small New England town.[3]

She graduated fromBrown Universitywith a degree inEgyptology.

Career[edit]

Before she changed professions and began writing novels, Braswell producedvideo gamesfor almost a decade, mostly atSimon & SchusterInteractive, where, among other credits, she served as executive producer forDarkened SkyeandFarscape: The Game.[4][5]

Braswell has written for Disney Press, particularly as one of the authors for itsTwisted Talesseries which are revisionist novels dealing "What If" stories in the Disney canon.

As of 2022, Braswell has a column with the Wall Street Journal, reviewing fantasy, science-fiction, and horror.
