Emilio Echeverry(8 March 1929 – May 2015) was a Colombian épée, foil and sabrefencer.He competed at the1956,1960and1964 Summer Olympics.[2]
Echeverry was described byEl Tiempoas his nation's "prominent fencer" precedingMauricio RivasandJuan Miguel Paz;he won seven medals at theCentral American and Caribbean Gamesbetween 1946 and 1962 and was twice his country's Olympic flagbearer.[3][4]
