Erinn Hayes(néeCarter;[1]born May 25, 1976) is an American actress and comedian. She is known for her role as Dr. Lola Spratt on the sitcomChildrens Hospital(2008–2016), which she later reprised in its spin-off seriesMedical Police(2020). For her role, Hayes received a nomination for thePrimetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Actress in a Short Form Comedy or Drama Seriesin 2016.

She has played roles in a number of network sitcoms, including Alison onThe Winner(2007), Melanie Clayton onWorst Week(2008–2009), Sheila onGuys with Kids(2012–2013), and Donna Gable onKevin Can Wait(2016–2017). Her film credits includeIt's a Disaster(2012),They Came Together(2014),Band Aid(2017),Bill & Ted Face the Music(2020), andA Christmas Story Christmas(2022).

Early life

Erinn Hayes was born inSan Fernando,California.[1]She attended theUniversity of Colorado at Boulderand graduated in 1998 with aBachelor of Fine Artsdegree in performance.[2]

Career

In 2005, Hayes appeared as a chef Becky Sharp on Fox's short-livedKitchen Confidential.[3]Also, in that same year, she played the role ofPam Dawberin the TV movieBehind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of Mork & Mindyalongside costarChris Diamantopoulos.Hayes played Alison on the television showThe Winnerin 2007.[4]

Hayes played the role of Dr. Lola Spratt in the satirical comedy seriesChildrens HospitalonAdult Swim.[5]She was nominated for anEmmyforOutstanding Actress in a Short Form Comedy or Drama Seriesin 2016.[6]

Hayes played the role of Melanie Clayton on theCBScomedy seriesWorst Week.The series was an Americanized version of the British comedyThe Worst Week of My Life.[7]She then later starred on theNBCcomedy seriesGuys with Kids.She starred in films such asIt's a Disaster,The Watch,andThey Came Together.Hayes co-starred in the second season ofHulu's reality TV parody seriesThe Hotwives of Las Vegasin 2015.[8]

In 2015, she performed as an inmate on the bandDengue Fever's video for the song "No Sudden Moves".

In 2016, Hayes began co-starring in the CBS seriesKevin Can Wait,portraying the role of Kevin Gable's wife Donna.[9][10]Following its renewal after the first season, Hayes was fired from the series for unspecified creative reasons.[11][12]The series was canceled after its second season.[13]

In April 2019, she played the role of Vivian in theNetflixseriesHuge in France,co-starring withGad Elmaleh.

In January 2020, Hayes played the role of Lola Spratt in the seriesMedical Police,with co-starRob Huebel,for distribution on Netflix.[14]That same year, she starred as Princess Elizabeth Logan, Ted's wife, inBill & Ted Face the Music,the third installment in theBill & Tedfilm series.[15]

In 2022, Hayes played Ralphie's wife, Sandy Parker, inA Christmas Story Christmas,a sequel to the 1983 filmA Christmas Story,forWarner Bros. Pictures,Legendary Pictures,andHBO Max(nowMax).[16]

Personal life

In 2004, Hayes married her high school sweetheart Jack Hayes, aconstruction supervisor.[17]They have two daughters.[18]
