Erol Bekir,formerly known asErol Bekirovski,(born 25 January 1974) is a Turkish-Swedishfootballmanager and former player ofTurkishorigin with roots fromMacedonia.[1]

Playing career[edit]

Club[edit]

He started out playing for his hometown clubMalmö FFin Sweden[2]but spent most of his career playing abroad for clubs likeBSC Young Boys,FC Lugano,Reggiana,FC ThunandSV Waldhof Mannheim.

Managerial career[edit]

Upon returning to Sweden he signed with lower divisionMalmöclubIF Limhamn Bunkeflowhere he also becameplayer managerbefore retiring as a player and focusing only on the manager part at the end of 2009.[3]In August 2012, IF Limhamn Bunkeflo and Bekir went their separate ways after the club announced that they could not match Bekirs level of ambition.[4]
