Eschen(German pronunciation:[ˈɛʃn̩] ;High Alemannic:Escha) is amunicipalityin the north ofLiechtenstein.It has a population of 4,466, and covers an area of 10.3 square kilometres (4.0 square miles). It is the fourth-largest town in Liechtenstein by population.
Geography[edit]
The municipality includes the village ofNendeln,which has atrain stationon theFeldkirch-Buchs line.
Administration[edit]
Schaan is locally administered by the mayor and a 11-person municipal council, elected every four years since 1975.[2]The incumbent mayor isTino Quaderer,since 2019.[3]
