Julian Micevski(born September 20, 1989), better known by hisring nameEthan Page,is a Canadianprofessional wrestler.He is signed toWWE,where he performs on theNXTbrand.He is a former one-timeNXT Champion.Micevski is also known for his time inImpact Wrestling,All Elite Wrestling(AEW), andRing of Honor(ROH).

A tag-team specialist, he has won multiple tag team championships in manyindependent promotions,mainly withJosh AlexanderasThe North,including winning theImpact World Tag Team Championshiptwice,with their first reign being the longest in the title's history at 380 days. In AEW, he teamed alongsideScorpio Skyas theMen of the Year.

Micevski also owns and operates his own promotion calledAlpha-1 Wrestling(A1).

Professional wrestling career

Early career (2006–2012)

Micevski began his professional wrestling training under the tutelage of Rip Impact and Ernie Moore in 2006. He has stated he did not learn much during this time, instead gaining the larger part of his early experience on the road while traveling withMichael Elgin,whom he credits as his mentor.[5]He made his professional wrestling debut on November 12, 2006 at a Pure Wrestling Association event inBrantford, Ontarioas Julian Logan in afour-way match,which was won by Indy Soldier.[4]

Independent circuit (2013–2021)

On December 30, 2013, Page and Elgin as Men of the Year (MOTY) defeated Kung Fu Manchu (Louis Lyndon and Marion Fontaine) and Zero Gravity (Brett Gakiya and CJ Esparza) to capture the AAW Tag Team Championship at "One Twisted Christmas".[6]He began wrestling forEvolvein 2014. At Evolve 84, he facedZack Sabre Jr.for theEvolve Championshipin which he came up on the losing end.[7][8]

During the summer of 2017, Page teamed up withACHas the Troll Boyz. On September 22 at Evolve 92, the Troll Boyz defeated the Lethal Enforcers (Anthony Henryand JD Drake) to win theEvolve Tag Team Championship.On September 23 at Evolve 93, the Troll Boyz lost the titles to Doom Patrol (Chris Dickinsonand Jaka). On September 28, it was revealed that he is no longer with Evolve.[9][10]

On May 22, 2015,Pro Wrestling Guerrilla(PWG) held its annual one nightDynamite Duumvirate Tag Team Title Tournament(DDT4), where he teamed withJosh AlexanderasMonster Mafia.They defeatedWorld's Cutest Tag Team(Joey RyanandCandice LeRae) in the first round winning thePWG World Tag Team Championshipin the process. Monster Mafia were eliminated from the tournament and lost the titles to theBeaver Boys(Alex ReynoldsandJohn Silver) in the second round.[11]

Ring of Honor (2014)

Micevski worked a number of matches forRing of Honor(ROH) in 2014 as Ethan Gabriel Owens. On April 18, he defeated Zizou Middoux in a Future of Honor match. On April 25 in a match taped for ROH TV, he was defeated bySilas Young.On June 6, the first night of Road to the Best in the World was held inCarbondale, Illinois.He was defeated byTommaso Ciampa.On June 7, the second night of Road to Best in the World was held inCollinsville, Illinois.He defeated Middoux in the opening match. On July 18, night two of the Summer Heat Tour was held inCincinnati, Ohio.He lost afour-way matchwhich was won byR.D. Evans.The match also includedMatt TavenandMoose.On July 26 in a match taped for ROH TV, while teaming with long-time tag team partner Josh Alexander as Monster Mafia, they fell in defeat to thenROH World Tag Team ChampionsReDRagon(Kyle O'ReillyandBobby Fish). On September 6 atAll Star Extravaganza VI,Moose and Evans defeated Monster Mafia,The Decade(Adam PageandB. J. Whitmer),Caprice ColemanandTakaaki Watanabein a four corner survival tag team match.[12]

Impact Wrestling (2017–2021)

Early appearances (2017–2018)

Micevski made hisImpact Wrestlingdebut on the November 30 episode ofImpact!,portraying a character named Chandler Park, who is the storyline cousin ofJoseph Park.[13]On the January 4, 2018 episode ofImpact!,Park defeatedJon Bolenin his first match with the company.[14]On the January 18 episode ofImpact!,after being destroyed byKongo Kongas a part of Kong's feud with Abyss, Park would be removed from TV.[15]

Now using the Ethan Page ring name and gimmick, he returned on the October 4 episode ofImpact!by interfering in a match betweenRich SwannandMatt Sydal,costing Swann the match and aligning himself with Sydal, re-establishing himself as aheel.[16]On the October 18 episode ofImpact!,Page made his in-ring debut, where he defeatedTrevor Lee.[17]AtBound for Glory,Page and Sydal lost to Swann andWillie Mack.[18]In early 2019, Sydal parted ways with Impact Wrestling, thus ending their alliance.[19]

The North (2019–2021)

On the April 12 episode ofImpact!,Page reunited with his former tag team partner from the independent circuit, the debutingJosh Alexanderas the two reformed Monster Mafia, now calledThe North,and made their in-ring debut as a team by defeatingjobbersEl Reverso and Sheldon Jean.[20]On July 5 at theBash at the Brewery 1event, The North defeated TheLatin American Xchange(Santana and Ortiz) to win theImpact World Tag Team Championshipfor the first time.[21][22]They would retain the titles for over a year, until they lost them to TheMotor City Machine Guns(Alex ShelleyandChris Sabin).[23]The North regained the titles at Bound for Glory, but lost them again a few weeks later againstThe Good Brothers(Doc GallowsandKarl Anderson).[24]

In preparation for his departure from Impact Wrestling at the end of his contract,[25]a storyline began where Page began to blame Alexander for their losses, causing the breakup of the North. Page made his final appearance atHard to Kill,where he was "killed" by his alter-ego, The Karate Man, in a cinematic match.[26]

All Elite Wrestling (2021–2024)

Men of the Year; American Top Team (2021–2022)

After leaving Impact Wrestling, Micevski signed a three-year contract withAll Elite Wrestling(AEW).[27]On March 7, 2021 atRevolution,he made his debut as the mystery entrant in theFace of the Revolution ladder matchin a losing effort, going under the Ethan Page ring name.[28][29]

On the March 29, 2021 episode ofDark: Elevation,Page formed an alliance withScorpio Sky.[30][31]Shortly afterward, they began feuding withDarby AllinandSting,[32]but were defeated in a tag team match atDouble or Nothing.[33]On the June 18 episode ofDynamite(taped June 6), Page and Sky, now going by theMen of the Year,defeated Allin in a two on one handicap match.[34]On theJuly 14 episode ofDynamite,Page was defeated by Allin in a coffin match, ending the feud.[35]

The Men of the Year would later align themselves with Dan Lambert ofAmerican Top Team,[36]and from then on, accompanied Lambert while he cut his promos.[37][38]This continued until the September 15 episode ofDynamite,whereThe Inner Circle'sChris Jerichointerrupted Lambert and a match between the Men of the Year and Jericho andJake Hagerwas set for theSeptember 24 episodeofRampage,[39]in which they were victorious.[40]

The feud withThe Inner Circlewould continue for the next month. On the October 27 episode ofDynamite,Page would challengeSammy Guevarafor theAEW TNT Championshipin a losing effort. AtFull Gear,Men of the Year teamed up with American Top Team to face The Inner Circle in a Minneapolis Street Fight in a losing effort, ending the feud.

The Firm and storyline with Matt Hardy (2022–2023)

In the lead up toAll Out,Page was recruited byStokely Hathawayalong withLee Moriarty,Colten Gunn,Austin Gunn,andW. Morrissey.On the September 14 episode ofDynamite,the name of his group was revealed to be "The Firm" and that they wereMJF's "retainer team". helping him whenever he would need them. On the October 14 episode ofRampage,Page defeatedPrivate Party's Isiah Kassidy, which sawMatt Hardyand Private Party joining The Firm.[41]Over the next few weeks, Hardy was banned from using the Hardy theme and theTwist of Fate.

On the February 3, 2023 episode ofRampage,Page, Hardy and Kassidy were unsuccessful at winning theAEW World Trios ChampionshipfromThe Elite(Kenny OmegaandThe Young Bucks).[42]Page would have a short feud withHook,the feud would culminate with Page unsuccessfully challenging Hook for theFTW Championshipin an FTW Rules match. On the April 12 episode ofDynamite,Page and The Firm assaulted Hardy, Kassidy, and Hook untilJeff Hardyreturned to make the save. On May 28 at theDouble or NothingBuy In, Page and The Firm would be defeated byThe Hardys,Kassidy, and Hook, after which Matt Hardy took ownership of Page's contract.[43]

On the June 30 episode ofRampage,Page jumped in the ring to preventQ. T. MarshallandJohnny TVfrom doing any more damage to Matt Hardy. Page clocked Marshall, but then Johnny TV knocked Page off his feet with a thrust kick. Page turnedfacein the process.[44]On the July 1 episode ofCollision,Page confronted MJF by slapping the mic out of his hand until MJF agreed to put the belt on the line which he was unsuccessful at winning theAEW World Championship.[45]On the December 5 episode ofCollision,Page was defeated by Omega in a singles match. This would be Page's last appearance in AEW as his profile was removed from both AEW and ROH's website on May 2, 2024, ending his tenure with the two companies.[46]

Return to ROH (2023–2024)

Page made his return to ROH, now the sister promotion of AEW, on the September 14, 2023 episode, defeatingGriff Garrison.Over the next few weeks, Page was scouted as a potential client for"Smart" Mark Sterling,but Page turned down the invitation. Page went on a winning streak of five matches in a row. His next match was againstTony Nese,which he lost due to Sterling's interference. On the rematch, Sterling was ejected from ringside and Page won the match. For the rubber match, Sterling demanded he be allowed at ringside, and management agreed under the condition that Sterling will be handcuffed to the ring post. The official contract signing took place on the December 7 episode ofROH Wrestling,where Sterling told Page that the match would be an"I Quit" match.Page and Nese then signed the contract and Sterling threw powder into Page's eyes, with Nese tossing Page through a table. The match was then made official forFinal Battle.[47]At the event, Page defeated Nese with the help of a returningScorpio Sky.[48]

Between January and February 2024, Page made a handful of appearances for ROH,[49]before signing withWWElater that year.[50]

WWE (2024–present)

Page made his surpriseWWEdebut on the May 28, 2024 episode ofNXTby attackingNXT ChampionTrick Williamsand revealing himself to be the one behind the attacks ofNoam DarandOro MensahofMeta-Four,thus establishing himself as aheel.[51]He signed with theNXTbrandthe following week and received a title match against Williams for the NXT Championship atNXT Battlegroundas part of his signing contract but failed to win the title.[52][53]On the June 18 episode ofNXT,Page participated in the 25-manbattle royalto earn a NXT Championship match atNXT Heatwavebut he was attacked by Mensah seconds into the match, with both men exiting through the ropes. Later that night, he defeated the battle royal winnerJe'Von Evansafter claiming that he was never eliminated from the battle royal. With Page, Evans andShawn Spears(who had defeated Williams in a non-title match) each having a claim to a title shot, NXT General ManagerAvascheduled afatal four-way matchfor the title at Heatwave.[54]At the event on July 7, Page fell onto Evans after aTrick Shotby Williams and pinned him to win the title, setting the record for winning the championship in the quickest time (40 days) after his debut.[55]With this victory, Page proclaimed that his NXT Championship reign will be known as the Era of Ego.[56]On the July 16 episode ofNXT,Page defeatedDante Chento retain his title in his first title defense, but was attacked by Mensah after the match.[57]At Week 2 ofNXT:The Great American Bashon August 6, Page defeated Mensah to retain the title and to end their feud.[58]AtNXT No Mercyon September 1, Page successfully defended his title againstTNA Wrestling'sJoe Hendrywith Williams as special guest referee.[59]AtNXT's CW premier on October 1,Page lost the title back to Williams withCM Punkas the special guest referee, ending his reign at 86 days.[60]

Micevski is married and has two children with his wife. He holdsblack beltsinkarateandtaekwondo.[61]He is ofMacedonianandSerbiandescent,[62]and is anEastern Orthodox Christian.[63]

Micevski is an avid toy collector and often posts his toy hunt videos on his officialYouTubechannel under his pro-wrestling moniker.[64]
