Eve Thomas(born 9 February 2001) is a New Zealandswimmer.[2][3]She competed for New Zealand in thewomen's 800 metre freestyleat the2019 World Aquatics Championships.[4]Thomas is the daughter of British swimmerSarah Hardcastle.[5][6]

At the2022 Commonwealth Games,inBirmingham,England,Thomas placed fourth in the800 metre freestylebehind three Australians, includingAriarne Titmus,with whom Thomas shares a coach,Dean Boxall.[1][7][8]In the final of the400 metre freestyle,she finished sixth in a time of 4:09.73.[9]
