Fahil(Arabic:فاحل) is a town in centralSyria,administratively part of theHoms Governorate,northwest ofHoms.Nearby localities includeTaldouandKafr Lahato the northeast andal-Qabuto the west. According to theCentral Bureau of Statistics(CBS), Fahil had a population of 5,775 in the 2004 census.[1]Its inhabitants are predominantlyAlawitesandGreek Orthodox Christians.[2]
