| Description |
English:The bed of metal type and print roller of a Miehle Model 00 flat-bed cylinderprinting pressin operation. This press, now at the printer's hall of theOld Thresher's Reunionmuseum, was originally sold to the USBureau of Engraving and Printing,which sold it to The Yellow Springs (Ohio) News in 1961, where it continued in commercial operation until 1991. Here, the press is being used to print an 8-page newspaper, with two press runs required to print the two sides of the paper. |
