Summary

Description Stone planter at the south of the Gardens of Easton Lodge, the gardens the remains of a 1947 demolished house with estate atLittle Easton,Essex,England.
Easton Lodge was built byHenry Maynardin 1597. A later-built house, with gardens designed byHarold Peto,was occupied by 'champagne socialist' andsocialiteFrances Evelyn Maynard(1861-1938),Countess of Warwick,who was born at Easton Lodge and lived there her whole life.
