Flo & Joan(orFlo and Joan,a name they took from their grandmother and her sister) are an Englishcomedy musicact consisting of sisters, Rosie and Nicola Dempsey.[1]The act generally consists of comedy songs.[2][1]Flo & Joan have been featured onBBC One'sLive at the Apollo,Stamptown Comedy Night[3]andOff Menupodcast.[4]In 2018, they were featured in aNationwidebuilding societytelevision advert.[5][6]They grew up inPortsmouth,lived inTorontofor a few years,[7][5][8]and as of February 2019[update],now live in London.[9]
They released anAmazon Prime Videospecial,Alive on Stage,based on theirEdinburgh Fringeshow in 2019.[10][1][11]
