Luigi FranchiS.p.A.(Italian pronunciation:[luˈiːdʒiˈfraŋki]) is an Italian manufacturer offirearms,a division ofBeretta Holding.

Franchi products include the militarySPAS-12andSPAS-15and the sporting-type long-recoil actionAL-48.Franchi manufactures over and under, and semi-automaticshotguns.

Franchi remained a family business since its founding until 1987, when it was acquired by the industrial conglomerateSocimi,based inMilan;with the bankruptcy of Socimi in 1993, Franchi was acquired byBerettaHolding.
