Fundamentos(Portuguese:Foundations) was a cultural and literary magazine published inSão Paulo,Brazil,from 1948 to 1955. The magazine was close to theBrazilian Communist Party.[1]

Fundamentoswas established in 1948.[2][3]The founder wasMonteiro Lobato.[4]The magazine was the organ of the Brazilian Communist Party and covered cultural and literary articles.[2]The headquarters of the magazine was in São Paulo.[5]Former Brazilian PresidentFernando Henrique Cardosojoined the editorial council of the magazine in 1952.[5]Fundamentosceased publication in 1955.[2][3]
