Gadarpuris a post independence city and amunicipal boardinUdham Singh Nagar districtin the state ofUttarakhand,India.This city was formed with the arrival of the refugees fromPakistanat the time ofpartition of 1947.The refugees settled here and started living here. The refugees arePunjabiwhich makes up a majority in the city.

During thepartition of 1947theTeraiforest was cut down for settlement of the Punjabi Migrants during the time of Partition of India. This place developed into a township by time.
