Gastropexyis asurgical operationin which thestomachissuturedto theabdominal wall[1]or thediaphragm.Gastropexies in which the stomach is sutured to the diaphragm are sometimes performed as a treatment ofGERDto prevent the stomach from moving up into the chest.
