George Slifkas(born 18 October 1969) is an Australian formersoccerplayer.
Playing career

[edit]Slifkas played forPreston Makedonia,Heidelberg UnitedandWest Adelaidein theNational Soccer Leaguein the late 1980s and early 1990s. From the mid-1990s he dropped down to theVictorian Premier Leaguewhere he played for theBulleen Lions,the Thomastown Zebras and the Melbourne Raiders.[1]
International career
[edit]At the1992 Barcelona OlympicsSlifkas played four matches as Australia placed fourth.[2]
In 1993 Slifkas made his first and only international appearance forAustraliaas a substitute in a match againstSouth Korea.[3]
