Edwin Gex Williams(pronounced/ˈ/JAY;born August 22, 1952) is an American politician fromKentucky.He is a member of theRepublican Partyand has represented District 20 in theKentucky Senatesince January 1, 2023.[1]Williams's experience includes working as an internet and IT consultant. He resides inVerona, Kentucky.[2]From 1991 to 1992 Williams represented Kentucky House District 60. In 1993, he served in the Kentucky Senate, representing District 24 until 1998.[3]He ran forKentucky's 4th congressional districtin the1998elections, but lost the general election toKen Lucas.[4]
