Ghatail(Bengali:ঘাটাইল) is atownofGhatail Upazila,Tangail,Bangladesh.The town is situated 33 kilometres (21 mi) north ofTangailcity and 114 kilometres (71 mi) northwest ofDhakacity, the capital of Bangladesh.
Demographics
[edit]According to the2011 Bangladesh census,Ghatail town had 7,668 households and a population of 35,245.[1]
The literacy rate (age 7 and over) was 72.1% (Male-77.6%, Female-65.1%).[2]
