Glossoptosis - Wikipedia

Glossoptosisis a medical condition and abnormality which involves the downward displacement or retraction of thetongue.^[1]It may cause non-fusion of thehard palate,causingcleft palate.

It is one of the features ofPierre Robin sequenceandDown syndrome.^[1]
