TheGugu Rarmulwere anindigenous Australianpeople of the state ofQueensland,one of several whose speech was calledGugu Yawa('Possum language').

According to Norman Tindale, the Kokojawa had 3,000 square miles (7,800 km2) of territory. They lived southeast of theMorehead Riverdown toLaura.Due south their boundary was on the south to North Palmer River and theGreat Dividing Range.They were present at theupper MossmanandKennedyrivers.[1]
