HMCSSkeena(D59)(I) was aRiver-class destroyeractive from 1931–1944.
HMCSSkeena(DDH 207)(II) was aSt. Laurent-class destroyerescort active from 1957–1993.

The116 Skeena Sea Cadets Corps (RCSCC Skeena)of theRoyal Canadian Sea Cadetswas named in honour of the first HMCS Skeena in 1941.^[1]The cadet unit has artifacts from the ship including the first ship's bell.^[2]
