Haji Sk. Nurul Islamis an Indian politician and anMLAfromAll India Trinamool CongressinWest Bengal.He was born in 1964 in Bahera,West Bengal,India.He was a small-time zari businessman and resident of Chhoto Jagulia village in Barasat.[3]

Deganga riot[edit]
Islam was accused of being involved in the2010 Deganga riots.[4]The BJP demanded the arrest of Haji Nurul Islam for instigating the mob into a communal frenzy. AnF.I.R.had been filed against him.[5][6]
