Heath J. Howard(born May 26, 2000) is an American politician. He currently serves as a member of theNew Hampshire House of RepresentativesrepresentingStrafford CountyDistrict 4, encompassingStraffordandBarrington,for theDemocratic Party.He assumed office on December 7, 2022.[1]Howard is currently a member of the Election Law Committee.[2][3]He belongs among theyoungest state legislatorsin the United States.
Early life and education
[edit]Howard was born May 26, 2000, inStrafford, New Hampshireto Daniel Lee and Kathleen Howard. He has one older sister.[4]His father is a builder and building inspector for the town and his mother is anEnglishteacher.[5]He graduated fromSpaulding High Schoolin 2018. He completed aBachelor of ArtsinHistoryat theUniversity of New Hampshirein 2022.[6]
Politics
[edit]He won the general elections on November 8, 2022, and assumed office in the New Hampshire House of Representatives on December 7, 2022. He is a member of the Election Law Committee.[7]
