Geography
[edit]Heilly is situated on the D52 road, some 12 miles (19 km) northeast ofAmiens.
History
[edit]During theFirst World War,being on the railway lineAmiens-Albertmeant receiving many of the dead bodies from theBattle of the Somme.Over 3000 graves are in the military cemetery.
