TwoHindu templeswere built by theArya Samaj,one inBandar Abbasand one inZahedan,both funded by Indian merchants in the late 19th century.[2][3]
A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupadatraveled toTehranin 1976. Since 1977,ISKCONruns a vegetarian restaurant in Tehran.[4]
