Huzhu Tu Autonomous County(Chinese:Hỗ trợ thổ tộc tự trị huyện;Monguor:Huzhu Mongghul njeenaa dagnagu xan), or in shortHuzhu County(Hỗ trợ huyện), is anautonomous countyunder the jurisdiction of theprefecture-level cityofHaidong,in the east ofQinghaiprovince, China, borderingGansuprovince to the northeast.[1]It has an area of 3,321 km2(1,282 sq mi) and approximately 370,000 inhabitants (2004). Its seat is the town ofWeiyuan.
The monastery ofChuzang,located in the town ofNanmenxiasome 20 km (12 mi) northwest of the seat of Huzhu County, is listed as a national monument of China (since 2006).
TheXining Caojiabao Airport(IATA: XNN, ICAO: ZLXN) which servesXining,capital of Qinghai Province, is located in the county.
