In August 2024, GAC Aion announced to rename the Hyper brand's English name toHyptec.[1]
Overview
[edit]The Hyptec GT was revealed on 30 December 2022 atAuto Guangzhou.It is planned to begin production and go on sale in October 2023.[2]
Specifications
[edit]When production of the Hyptec GT begins, it will have the lowest-everwind resistancecoefficient of any mass-production car at 0.19 cd. The GAC research and development team used aerodynamic design cues featured in previous concepts such as theGAC ENO.146andTIMEto achieve the low drag coefficient of the Hyper GT.[3]
The Hyptec GT is based on GAC's AEP 3.0 platform.[4]
