Ikunum(Akkadian:𒄿𒆪𒉡𒌝,romanized:I-ku-nu-um) was a king ofAssyriac.1934–1921 BC and the son ofIlushuma.He built a temple for the godNinkigal.[2]He strengthened the fortifications of the city ofAssurand maintained commercial colonies inAsia Minor.[3]The following is a list of the sixteen annually-electedlimmuofficials from the year of accession of Ikunum until the year of his death.[4]
