Jacob Moelaert
Jacob MoelartorMoelaert(1649–1732) was aDutch Golden Agepainter and art collector.
Biography
[edit]He was born and died inDordrecht.According to Houbraken he was a pupil ofNicolaes Maesand learned how to paint a good portrait, but was better at history paintings.[1]
According to the RKD he is known for his art collection as well as his paintings.[2]
