Kishore Bharati Krirangan(commonly known as bothMukundapur StadiumandMukundapur Stadium) is amulti-purpose stadiuminKolkata,West Bengal.[2][3]used mainly forfootballmatches. The capacity of the stadium is 12,000 and the size of the sports complex is 13 acres. The stadium plays host toMohammedan SC's non-derbyIndian Super Leaguematches and lower division Calcutta Football League matches.[4]It has occasionally hostedCalcutta Premier Divisionmatches.[1][5]Sports meetsof different schools are also held here.[6]
History
[edit]Kishore Bharati Stadium was reopened on 7 February 2021 after a brief renovation by theGovernment of West Bengal.Chief ministerMamata Banerjeeinaugurated it ahead of the2020–21 I-League.The stadium hosted its first domestic league match betweenGokulam Kerala FCandReal Kashmiron the same day.[7]
A few years ago the stadium was used as the home ground ofTollygunge AgragamiforCalcutta Football Leaguematches.[8]

Facilities
[edit]The stadium is equipped with several facilities, aLa Ligafootball academy, and can be used forfootballand athletic events.
A modern underground drainage system is present in the stadium. It has practice grounds for cricket and football. There is a 100-seater dormitory accommodation facility present below the galleries. It has facilities to host seminars, conferences and meetings.[10]A swimming pool complex is present beside the stadium.[11]A martial arts training centre also operates on the premises.[5]
