Jisrin(Arabic:جسرين;also spelledJisrein) is a village in southernSyria,administratively part of theMarkaz Rif Dimashq Districtof theRif Dimashq Governorate,located just east ofDamascus.According to theSyria Central Bureau of Statistics(CBS), Jisrin had a population of 9,442 in the 2004 census.[1][2]
