John Mankiewicz(born February 18, 1954) is an Americantelevisionandfilmexecutive producerandscreenwriter.[1][2]He was co-executive producer forHouse of CardsandBosch,he co-created the television seriesThe Streetand has written and produced episodes forHouse M.D.and occasionally writes forThe New Yorker.[3]

He was born inNew York Citythe son of Ilene Thelma (Korsen) and screenwriterDon Mankiewicz,a member of theMankiewicz family.He is a cousin ofBen Mankiewicz,Josh MankiewiczandNick Davis.
