He was born inHackney,Greater London.[1]He is ofJamaicandescent.[2]
Club career[edit]
In 2019, Wilson-Esbrand leftWest Ham Unitedto join the academy ofManchester City.[3]On 21 September 2021, he made his professional debut when he was named in the starting line up for Manchester City'sEFL Cuptie againstWycombe Wanderers.[4]
On 10 January 2023, Wilson-Esbrand joinedEFL ChampionshipclubCoventry Cityon a loan for the remainder of the 2022–23 season.[5]He was part of the Coventry side that achieved play-off football and was an unused substitute as Coventry were beaten 6–5 on penalties after extra time ended 1–1 atWembley StadiumbyLuton Townin the2023 EFL Championship play-off final.[6]
International career[edit]
In November 2019, Wilson-Esbrand represented theEngland national under-18 team.[7]On 11 November 2021, he made hisunder-20debut in a 2–0 defeat toPortugalin the2021–22 Under 20 Elite League.[8]
On 19 November 2023, Wilson-Esbrand made hisEngland U21debut as a substitute in the 3–02025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualificationvictory away toSerbia.[9]
