Its studios are in the unincorporatedClark Countycommunity ofEnterprise.

KBET broadcasts with 1,000wattsby day, reducing power to 300 watts at night to avoid interfering with other stations on790 AM.Thetransmitteris off Telephone Pole Road inWhitney, Nevada.[2]KBET is also heard onFM translator103.1MHzK276GXinLas Vegas.[3]

KBET recently carriednationally syndicatedconservative talkshows most of the day, mainly fromCumulus MediasubsidiaryWestwood One.They includedChris Plante,Dan Bonginoand "Red Eye Radio."In addition,"Armstrong & Getty"fromKSTESacramentowas heard in morningdrive time.Alex Jonesfrom theGenesis Communications Networkaired early weekday and weekend mornings andGround Zero with Clyde Lewiswas heard in late evenings. Most hours began withFox News Radio.

On May 22, 2006;18 years ago(2006-05-22),the station firstsigned onthe air.[4]Diamond Broadcasting spent $2.5 million to acquire the station'sconstruction permitbefore it even was on the air.

On May 29, 2009, theLas Vegas Sunreported that the station had been sold to Silver State Communications LLC, and that the format would be changed toSports radio.KBET later aired a ClassicCountry musicformat and was using the slogan: "Country Legends 790." KBET began broadcasting a talk format on April 19, 2012.[5]

The station is presently off the air. The published phone numbers from the website are not working. The listen live feature on the website is currently playing Fox News updates from 2017 during the Trump Administration.
