KDTF-LD(channel 36) is alow-power television stationinSan Diego, California,United States, affiliated with the Spanish-language networkUniMás.It is owned byEntravision CommunicationsalongsideClass AUnivisionaffiliateKBNT-CD(channel 17); it is alsosistertoMilenio TelevisiónaffiliateXHDTV-TDT(channel 49). XHDTV-TDT is owned by Mexican-based Televisora Alco, which is 40% owned by Entravision. The three stations share studios on Ruffin Road in San Diego'sKearny Mesasection; KDTF-LD's transmitter is located onSan Miguel MountaininSpring Valley.
History[edit]
This station was affiliated with Telefutura, the forerunner to UniMás, sometime in2006,after talks reportedly broke down with sister station and formerUPNaffiliate XHUPN (channel 49, now XHDTV-TDT).
