Kalahari High

TheKalahari Highis ananticyclonethat forms in winter over the interior of southern Africa, replacing a summertrough.[1]It is part of thesubtropical ridgesystem and the reason theKalahariis adesert.[2]It is the descending limb of aHadley cell.[3]
