TheKamnik Bistrica[2][3][4][5](Slovene:Kamniška Bistrica,pronounced[ˈkáːmniʃkaˈbíːstritsa])[6]is anAlpineriverin northernSlovenia,a left tributary of theSavaRiver. It springs from theKamnik Alps(part of theSouthern Limestone Alps) near the border withAustria.It is 33 km (21 mi) long.[1]The Kamnik Bistrica flows through the town ofKamnik,where it is fed by theNevljicaRiver. It flows into the Sava south ofVidem,about 10 km east ofLjubljana.
