Karl Lukas(bornKarol Louis Lukasiak;August 21, 1919 – January 16, 1995) was an American film and television actor.[1]He was best known for playing Private Stash Kadowski inThe Phil Silvers Show.[2]
Biography[edit]
Lukas guest-starred in numerous television programs includingThe Andy Griffith Show,Gunsmoke,Bonanza,The Rockford Files,The Dick Van Dyke Show,Rawhide,Wagon Train,The Beverly Hillbillies,Alfred Hitchcock Presents,The F.B.I.,Petticoat Junction,andThe Monkees.He also appeared in a few episodes ofFamily Affair,Bewitched,andMister Ed.Lukas died on January 16, 1995 ofheart failureinWestlake Village, California,at the age of 75.[3][4][5]He was buried inSan Fernando Mission Cemetery.[5]
