Katie Jane Lotte Lamis a BritishConservativepolitician who has been Member of Parliament forWeald of Kentsince 2024.[1]She is also a lyricist and scriptwriter.
Biography and political career
[edit]Lam was educated atTrinity College, Cambridge,where she read classics. While at Cambridge she was elected president of theCambridge Unionand chairman of theCambridge University Conservative Association.[2]She then worked in finance, spending the bulk of her career atGoldman Sachs,where she was a vice president.
She then became aspecial adviser,working forSuella BravermanandBoris Johnson.[3]
Musical career
[edit]Lam, in collaboration with Alex Parker, has co-written five musicals.[4]
