Katie Teresa Perkins(born 7 July 1988) is a New Zealand formercricketerwho played as a right-handedbatter.[1]She appeared in 73One Day Internationalsand 55Twenty20 InternationalsforNew Zealandbetween 2012 and 2020. She played domestic cricket forAuckland,as well as playing one match forAdelaide Strikers.[2]

In 2013, she graduated as a police constable from theRoyal New Zealand Police College.[3]

Career

Perkins made herWomen's T20 International cricket(WT20I) debut for New Zealand Women againstAustraliaon 20 January 2012. Five days later, she made herWomen's One Day International cricket(WODI) debut against the same team.[1]

In August 2018, she was awarded a central contract byNew Zealand Cricket,following the tours ofIrelandandEnglandin the previous months.[4][5]In January 2020, she was named in New Zealand's squad for the2020 ICC Women's T20 World Cupin Australia.[6]

Perkins retired from all forms of cricket in February 2023.[7]
