Early life and education
[edit]Carter was raised inOviedo, Florida,and raised inChuluota, Florida.Her father works in construction and her mother is a therapist.[2]She studied acting atSavannah College of Art and Design,earning aBachelor of Fine Artsdegree in performing arts.[3][4]Carter has performed on stage in her first professional theater role inMark Rylance's playNice FishonThe West EndinLondon,[2]atSt. Ann's WarehouseinBrooklyn,New York City[4]and at theAmerican Repertory TheaterinCambridge, Massachusetts.
