Kazuyoshi Kumakiri(Hùng thiết hòa gia,Kumakiri Kazuyoshi,born 1 September 1974)is a Japanese film director.[2]

Career

Kumakiri debuted withKichikuin 1997.[3]His 2001 film,Hole in the Sky,starredSusumu TerajimaandYuriko Kikuchi.[4]His 2004 film,Green Mind, Metal Bats,screened at theInternational Film Festival Rotterdamin 2006.[5]He directedSketches of Kaitan Cityin 2010.[6]In 2012, he returned withBlazing Famiglia,which starred the comedianYoshimi Tokui.[7]His 2014 film,My Man,won the “Golden George” prize for the best film at the 36thMoscow International Film Festival.[8]In 2023, his feature filmYokowon theGolden Goblet Award for Best Feature Film,which is the highest prize at the 25thShanghai International Film Festival.[9]
