TheEizan Cable(Duệ sơn ケーブル,Eizan Kēburu),officially theCable Line(Cương tác tuyến,Kōsaku-sen),is Japanesefunicularline inSakyō,Kyōto,Kyōto,operated byKeifuku Electric Railroad.The line opened in 1925, as a western route toEnryaku-ji,a famous temple onMount Hiei.The line has 561 m (1,841 ft) vertical interval, the largest in the country.
