Kevin J. Walshis an American film and TV producer. Walsh is best known for producing the critically acclaimed filmsNapoleon,House of Gucci,andManchester by the Sea,in which he earned anAcademy Award nomination for Best PicturewithMatt Damon,Kimberly Steward,Chris Moore,andLauren Beck.[1][2][3][4]The film received 18 major award nominations and won two Academy Awards.[5]

In 2022, Walsh began a multi-year deal with Apple TV+ to produce film and television for the studio under his banner, The Walsh Company. His first films to be released for Apple TV+ areNapoleon,directed by Ridley Scott and starringJoaquin PhoenixandVanessa Kirby;The Instigatorsdirected by Doug Liman and starringMatt Damon,Casey Affleck,andHong Chau;andEcho Valley,directed by Michael Pearce starringJulianne MooreandSydney Sweeney.

Prior to his deal with Apple TV+, Walsh was the President ofScott Free Productions,a film and television production company established byRidley ScottandTony Scottin 1995.[6]At Scott Free, Walsh produced a dozen films in the six years that he oversaw the film group, includingBoston Strangler,Death on the Nile,House of Gucci,The Last Duel,Earthquake Bird,Our Friend,American WomanandAll the Money in the World.

Walsh got his start in the film business working as an assistant toScott Rudinon seven films includingZoolander,The Hours,andThe Royal Tenenbaums.He later worked for Steven Spielberg on multiple films includingMunich,The Adventures of Tintin,andWar of the Worlds.Walsh was also cast as an actor inThe Master.[7]
