Kim Kum-il(Korean:김금일,born 10 October 1987) is aNorth Koreanformerfootballerwho played as a striker.

In 2006, Kim led theNorth Korean Under-20 teamto win theAFC Youth Championshipby scoring 4 goals, he was also voted as the Most Valuable Player of the tournament. The following2007 FIFA World Youth ChampionshipKim participated as Captain of the North Korean team and scored one goal at the 2–2 draw with theCzech Republic.[2]

Kim made his debut for the national team during the2005 East Asian Football Championshipin Taipei, he also played at the2008 East Asian Football Championship.[citation needed]
