KoktepeorKok Tepeis an archaeological site inUzbekistan,located around 30 kilometers north fromSamarkand,in an area located at the boundary of the steppe during ancient times.[2]The Koktepe site yielded the remains of the tomb of aSarmatianprincess.[3]Koktepe was probably known to ancient writers as the city of Gabae.[4]
