Kosmos 2527(Russian:Космос 2527meaningSpace 2527) is a Russian militarysatellitelaunched in 2018 as part of theGLONASSsatellite navigation system.
This satellite is a GLONASS-M satellite, also known as Uragan-M, and is numbered Uragan-M No. 756.[3]
Kosmos 2527 was launched fromSite 43/4atPlesetsk Cosmodromein northern Russia. ASoyuz-2-1bcarrier rocket with aFregatupper stage was used to perform the launch which took place at 21:46 UTC on 17 June 2018. The launch successfully placed the satellite into aMedium Earth orbit.It subsequently received itsKosmosdesignation, and theinternational designator2018-053A. TheUnited States Space Commandassigned it theSatellite Catalog Number43508.[1]
The satellite is in orbital plane 1, in orbital slot 5.[4]As of October 2018 it remains in operation.
