Kupusina(Serbian:Купусина,romanized:Kupusina;Hungarian:Bácskertes) is a village located in the municipality ofApatinWest Bačka District,Vojvodina,Serbia. As of 2011 census, it has a population of 1,921 inhabitant and Hungarian ethnic majority.
History
[edit]In June 2006 session of the Municipality of Apatin, theHungarian languagegained the status of the official language of Kupusina. Until then, Serbian language was the sole official language in this village,[2]although Hungarians have comprised majority in the village since the country ofSerbia and Montenegrowas established.
